Subject: Robots that bring the future to us.

Introduction:

Robots a crucial part that are being common in people’s daily lives, even if they realized it or not. Some people only see the negatives and do not want to see of how they help the society and make everything for the better. Through time to time, it has been crucial topic of how robots have been used in the society and are they good to be part of society.

Types of Robots and What they do:

In a country or in world there are lots of different types of robot s which gives services to different types of things that are needed and helps people. Like Robot dogs who are specialized in recognizing and function same as the regular dogs, security robots who are specialized to protect people with nonlethal weapons, Factory robots who are specializes is packing everything and move one thing to another destinations, Killer robots who are specialized to fight in the wars and finish their targets through certain distance. The proposal in this part is an upgrade to the robots and bring it to the next level. Like: “Robots used in manufacturing fill numerous roles. Fully autonomous robots in manufacturing are commonly needed for high-volume, repetitive processes — where the speed, accuracy and durability of a robot offers unparalleled advantages. Other manufacturing automation solutions include robots used to help people with more intricate tasks. The robot executes components of the process such as lifting, holding and moving heavy pieces”(Acieta, 2021). This explains how the robots have been used what they are doing in certain places which is dangerous for normal people. Sometimes humans try to lift dangerous things for having less work which then effects their health, and they became sick, and the robots comes in that place to do the heavy lifting work, it is important to understand that they are not trying to take people’s jobs they are just there to help people. Also, “Manufacturing robots enable employees to focus on innovation, efficiency and other, more intricate processes that ultimately lay the groundwork for growth and success. With a dedicated manufacturing automation solution in place, you can see increased productivity, improved worker safety and satisfaction, and a better bottom line”(Acieta, 2021). This illustrates the process of how the robots work and it helps the workers to focus on specific part’s that needs to be addressed and being done, Because of the robots doing the productivity we can say that production rate will go higher, and the workers will have good satisfaction with the work they will be doing.

(Figure 1: It shows how some robots are used in manufacturing companies and it is also making lives of the people much easier.

Safety Regulations and How it works:

Now we can talk about the security robot’s people’s safety has always been concerned for a while. That’s why security robots have been created to protect them whether it is in night or day. “Each robot has five cameras, four of which help the robot see things. The other is used to get thermal imaging data. All the information gathered goes to an internet-based portal that helps local security forces on the ground” (Fouraker, 2018). This can be big relief to a lot of people who works at night, because in midnight there is always less people, and it is scary to walk alone. So, the security robots are there if anything bad is going they will send messages to the local forces, and some will also have nonlethal weapons. Also, “The robots are able to observe people walking on the sidewalks, record license plate numbers, detect the heat in objects, and see which cellphone serial numbers are within a designated patrolling area” (Fouraker, 2018). The way they scan something helps the workers in the operator to keep track of the data and be cautious about any incidents that can happen. It is an example of the world is going to be in the future and how the robots will take into our human lives. While we are saying the positive, we will also have to see the negative side to this too, “…although they view certain jobs as being more at risk than others, a significant majority of today’s workers express little concern that their own jobs or careers might be performed by machines in their lifetimes” (A. Smith and M. Anderson, 2017). This brought a big concern what they will do if the robots replace their position. The answer to that is quite simple they are just something people created, if people can many distinct types of ideas, then there is no limit of the jobs they can find, and the robots are just meant to complete one task they are not going to replace humans.

(Figure 2: How robots have been used as security to protect a place and what functions they have inside in them.

(Figure 3: It demonstrates how each part of the robots and how there is still some place for changes.)

 Proposed Regulations

While we are discussing about parts of the Robots of how it works. The project I want to the Board of Engineers attention is how to control the robots and to set a powerful electronic device int to the system of the robot and keep monitoring it, so it doesn’t also get damaged and use for 24 hours. In NYC specially we need robots because there are lots of things happen outside and in subway where if robots work 24/7, they can protect the people. Which each robots have different qualities they are good on their own way. “Robots can be transformed into light, adaptable, and cost-friendly technology for a whole host of security functions. A robotic “ferret” has been developed for airports and seaports, which can detect tiny particles of dangerous substances in cargo containers” (J.B. Mcneill and E. Machi, 2009). This brings a point how much robots are important for the country and how it can help support people for bad people. The focus proposal is making them feel comfortable to people, they can create buildings, help you visualize the outcomes. In Present we are creating small robots and not seeing the bigger picture of it for the future, let’s try to adapt with it while there is no specific budget it can go above $100 million for big robots.

 Conclusion:

Robots are something that can bring changes into the society and help the country advance further with new development. Imagine what it will be like 10 to 15 years later, the houses will get more bigger, people will use artificial intelligence in home to find anything they need, helicopter robots will walk close to your house and protect the area, some robots will also service you in cooking, cleaning and carrying things. Overall, there are mostly positives if we think about what the future holds with these new possibilities. We should not affect our future or present just by thinking one negative outcome and if we plan something, just make it and see to the end.
