Before I began the whole part of the class. The semester became over and everything has coming to an end. I believe I learned a lot from this class and can learn more with the knowledge I got from the work I did in this class. In the following description I will explain in detail how learning and writing has been to me through and in 4 main assignments and other work in class.

The first assignment is Technical Description, In this assignment, each student has needed to choose a technical item and describe the mechanism of it. The item I selected is Security Robots, during this assignment I researched a lot about it of how it when it started and how people view this things. Through learning and imitating I learned more deeply about the topic I have chosen. At first I wrote like 4-5 pages then begin to narrow a little bit and during the peer view my classmates that my first draft was too long and not have much information about past. So, I reduced the structure of the text and use clear language with more information about the past and also gave picture of how it’s designed.

The second writing assignment is a memo. This is teamwork assignment, Because or in general everyone has to work in some time as team with others. Our team had three people and each of us has our own roles. we determined that our team discuss about the lack of funding MTA gets to improve and how in some ways we can change it. As a submission Manager I worked both with my Research Director and Topic Supervisor about each parts of the project and what we can change in it. Through this project I believe my analyzation skills has been improved and I began to see other sides of the work. The group of our team did a fantastic job in each of their roles and what we can improve upon is give quoted mark on the lines we brought from the sources.

The third writing assignment is the lab report. The main purpose of this project is discuss about the scientific research and engineering work. My topic for this assignment is “Evolution of Distance Learning With New Technologies”. I had my own purpose of choosing this topic and also it is something that is not only affecting me the people in the whole world are affecting by it. I believe by writing this assignment I got a good sense of sociality of how the world view about certain things. Also this experience has strengthen my ability to sense, evaluate the situation, discuss solutions, vision the future and see different sides of every work.

The fourth writing assignment is an Engineering Proposal. For this assignment I need to make a proposal about an innovation that can benefit the country. I used the Security Robots and talked about the robots as a whole of what they can and will do for the country if we make good use of it. Because as technology improving we certainly can imagine a little bit about the future of they can look and everything can change and many things can go for the better. I also discussed a lot about that robots are not our replacement and they will certainly be a fine improvement of change in future. I also used some things I learned from my other assignment in this project and persuade the audience in a scientific way. This assignment not only gave me a better understanding new genre, but also gave me a power to connected everything as a whole.

By learning and creating this four assignment, I believe my understanding of writing has been deepened and get more strengthen. I learned how to get information from sources, analyze it, explore, develop and express ideas through profession. Through peer reviews, communication and feedback I have got in work, I realized and understood the writing not only requires authors thinking and understanding, but also requires advice that can help strengthen it and make a good writing. Through studying ideas and the see the works of my classmates works. I have strengthen the strategy and power to evaluate things when to edit, check and re-evaluate my own work.

Looking back all the work I have done, I believe I have completed all the objectives I was given and deepened my understanding of the writing as a whole.  Also writing shows the feelings we have as a human and our personalities like: College admission essays it it provides an image of who we are as a person and how we can change. The writing techniques have improved my writing perspective, like: creating outlines, find appropriate sources, check the grammar, analyze the thoughts, match with your ideas, also put counterclaim perspective, showing your opinions and thinking. I find writing difficult, But I know this if I don’t try it, I will never overcome the challenges I am facing. So I will focus myself of improving the weaknesses I have in writing and continue mastering it. Although the semester is over, it doesn’t mean the writing part of my life is over. I believe I will face more engineering writing in my other classes and in work, So the things I have learned in this course help me strengthen up my career and help me rise to the next level in life.
